Nominations Sought for Sullivan Awards
February 15, 2013
The deadline to nominate candidates for the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Awards in March 10.
Guilford presents the annual awards to one community member and one graduating senior for service in the Triad.
The Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation established the awards in 1925. Guilford was asked to join the select group of Southern colleges and universities presenting the awards in 2001 and recognized its first recipients in 2002.
Nominations must be submitted on the Sullivan Award nomination form and received by the Office of Advancement no later than March 10. Letters of support, also with a March 10 deadline, are extremely helpful and should be directed to the Office of Advancement Office as well.
Award winners receive a mounted medallion and a framed certificate.
