Mylène Dressler’s Novella Nominated for Pushcart Prize

The Wedding of Anna F., a novella by English faculty member Mylène Dressler, has been published in the journal Big Fiction and nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
The annual Pushcart Prizes honor the best “poetry, short fiction, essays or literary whatnot” published by small presses. Pushcart Press has published anthologies of selected works since 1976.

Mylène’s work also has appeared recently in the Atticus Review, and her novel The Deadwood Beetle was the subject of a scholarly presentation at the Annual American Studies Symposium at Purdue University. She is the author of three novels: The Flood Makers, The Deadwood Beetle and The Medusa Tree.
