Erin Kelly Named Associate Director of Admission

In addition to recruiting students in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey and Wisconsin, she will assist with the creation of electronic and print communications for the Office of Admission.
“I have known Erin professionally for several years through the Colleges That Change Lives organization,” said Andy Strickler, dean of admission and financial aid. “I have been impressed with the energy and tenacity she brings to her work with prospective students and families, and I am extremely excited about the fresh ideas and energy she will bring to our enrollment efforts.”
As senior assistant director at Wooster, a post she held since July 2011, Erin was responsible for student recruitment in six Midwestern states and Lucas County, Ohio, which includes Toledo. She also coordinated campus visit programs and served on a team that mentored first-year students and their families.
From August 2010-July 2011, she was the college’s assistant director of admission, coordinating open houses, managing overnight hosts for prospective students, and managing a territory that included three states and two Ohio counties.
She worked at Hiram College 2007-10, first as an admission counselor and later as assistant director of admission. She is a 2007 graduate of Hiram, where she majored in communication studies and minored in business management.
